Fastest Route FROM Denver International Airport to A Bar A
- From airport terminal, take 470E North toward 1-25
- Turn onto I-25 North toward Cheyenne
- In Cheyenne, take I-80 West toward Laramie
- In Laramie, take Highway 230 turnoff toward Woods Landing
- Continue on 230 through Woods Landing
- You will briefly cross back into Colorado on Highway 127
- Turn right on Colorado 125 and continue north
- You are now on Ranch property (State Line, Big Creek, and A Bar A)
- Continue north and you will cross back into Wyoming
- At mile marker 112, turn right onto the A Bar A driveway
- Our driveway is 8 miles long, so keep going!
- After two miles, you will cross our paved runway
- After four miles, you will be greeted at the Howdy Gate and be given directions to the office
- Total time averages 3 hours 45 minutes
Fastest Route TO Denver International Airport from A Bar A
- Turn left onto Highway 230 from A Bar A road
- Travel 22 miles and turn left at three-way intersection
- Continue to Laramie, Wyoming
- In Laramie, enter I-80 East to Cheyenne
- In Cheyenne, enter I-25 South to Denver
- Exit to E-470 toll road and travel East
- At Peña Blvd turn toward Denver International Airport
- Total time averages 3 hours 45 minutes
Scenic Route to A Bar A from Denver International Airport
- Continue on Peña Blvd. to I-70 West
- Take exit 232 onto Highway 40 toward Empire
- Continue over Berthoud pass toward Winter Park
- Continue on US 40 through Granby, CO
- Turn right onto Colorado 125 and continue through Walden
- After the small town of Cowdrey, turn left to stay on 125
- You are now on Ranch property (State Line, Big Creek, and A Bar A)
- Continue north and you will cross into Wyoming
- At mile marker 112, turn right onto the A Bar A driveway
- Our driveway is 8 miles long, so keep going!
- After two miles, you will cross our paved runway
- After four miles, you will be greeted at the Howdy Gate and be given directions to the office

Runway Information
The A Bar A has a paved 5,700 X 50 foot runway located on the property and at 7,780 feet above sea level. It is used by private jets, but is perfect for turbo-props like the TBM, Pilatus, or King Air. Tie-downs are available, as is transportation to the ranch. Mountain Aviation and Mayo Aviation also provide charter service from Denver International Airport to the A Bar A. Closest fuel is available in Saratoga, WY (KSAA). The A Bar A runway is crossed by the main ranch road. Our ground staff will block the roads and verify condition of runway when you arrive and depart. The town of Saratoga is 45 minutes from the Ranch. It is served by a small public airport, Shively Field (KSAA). The runway is (8800 x 100 ft.). The facility has fuel services and runway lights. Additional information at: http://www.airnav.com/airport/KSAA
