Employee Reference Form

A Bar A Ranch - Employee Reference Form

Please use this form to fill out a reference for a potential employee.
  • The A Bar A Ranch is one of the West’s original guest ranches, established in 1922. We are located in southern Wyoming’s Medicine Bow Mountains, on the North Platte River. Guests visit from across the country and around the world to ride horses, fly-fish, hike, shoot, and enjoy other outdoor activities with their families and friends. Many of our guests have been returning to the Ranch for generations, and we highly value the long-term relationships built at A Bar A.

Our mission is: To create an environment that provides opportunities for deep connections: with ourselves, with others, and with the land.

Our staff members are key to our success and we are selective in our hiring. We are looking for optimistic, motivated, team players who are ready to work hard and be positive members of our community.
  • A Bar A staff members are placed in work situations where they must learn quickly, take initiative, be prompt, and adapt to busy, sometimes stressful, work environments. They work full-time jobs. They must work well with supervisors and peers and maintain a focus on guest service.

Your honest evaluation will help us tremendously in making the best placements for our summer staff. If you have any questions, please contact us.
