Self-Supported
Expeditions

Self-Supported Expeditions combine the comfort of our Expedition cabins with the freedom to experience the ranch entirely on your own schedule. Designed for families and groups of friends, these self-guided stays provide access to A Bar A, Big Creek, and State Line Ranches for fly fishing, hiking, and exploring at your own pace. Guests can settle into the quiet rhythm of ranch life, prepare their own meals, and enjoy days shaped entirely around their interests.

Accommodations range from secluded log cabins near blue-ribbon trout streams to authentic ranch houses surrounded by the open landscapes of Southern Wyoming. Each is equipped with a full kitchen, basic cooking essentials, and bedroom and bathroom amenities. Guests may bring their own food or arrange to purchase meal kits prepared by the A Bar A kitchen.

Self-Supported Expeditions are available June through October for groups of 2–8 guests.
