The A Bar A has long been considered the premier Western guest ranch. With A Bar A Expeditions, guests experience a privately-guided, customized, small-group adventure. Schedules may be tailored to meet the needs and interests of each group.

- Four Options:
1). Fully-Guided Expeditions are available June – September. Explore all three of our Ranches that includes staying at the A Bar A Ranch, Burta’s Cabin along scenic Big Creek, and Radiana at Big Creek Ranch. You will have a personal guide that will write an itinerary specifically for you and your interest in activities.
2). Add onto a week at the A Bar A with an Expedition Extension that will be fully guided and will explore all three of our Ranches. You can choose to stay at Burta’s Cabin, Radiana at Big Creek Ranch, or both!
3). Expedition Overnights (additional charge to your regular A Bar A rate) are available to guests who want a change of scenery during their stay at the A Bar A. The one – two day overnights at Burta’s will be catered by the A Bar A Ranch kitchen for dinner and will be stocked for breakfast and lunch.
4). Self-Supported Expeditions are available in October. You can stay at the A Bar A, Burta’s Cabin, or Radiana. All of the locations have full kitchens with the cookware needed to prepare your own meals. You are welcome to fish, hike, or explore wherever you would like. If you would like to hunt upland game birds, we will arrange a guide and dog for you at Big Creek Ranch.
The rates are the same as a regular stay the A Bar A Ranch. This is your chance to customize a trip towards your specific interests. Explore over 100,000 acres, 26 miles of private water, historic and prehistoric homesteads and Native American sites, or simply relax and enjoy the peace of our Wyoming landscape.
